Love And Faith

Love and faith. Changeless evergreen quick ambling
Adroitly to and fro of yellowing and chlorophyll dazzling,
The green holding the sweet of unripe mango hostage
And mud-nested before the moon is washed in
To utter enchantment, waiting in the slag turn of time
Leaden with myriad other errands to fulfill rhymed
With juggling on the balance of who died first
Between Adam and Eve, such first endings versed―

The secret stories retold from the lower lip
To the upper lip and ends with a mum sipped.
The artwork that begins with a question and ends
With cumbrous awe of what was the question dares
And like blown pollen, never in the same drawn path,
Pollen grain after pollen grain, season after season began;
Even flow after flow of the wind changes for certain
Charging forward to its unseen skedaddle purpose.
Jubilant and with a soft sibilant warbling
Dizzied in the perfumery of happiness, circling.

If you idle here, love and faith seem to stretch to eternity,
They do! You’re the present hope that keeps coming perfectly
Back, and to prove it, you drink breath after breath sifted,
Agleam blink after blink. A blood rush clench of grit.
